Books can sometimes be hard or soft but are always entertaining
You should always read inside when it is raining
It tastes disgusting so never eat a book
It smells like paper and sometimes teaches you how to cook
Spies are Scared of Turtles

My Sister
Qistina Adzni, Age 8
Angell Elementary
In September of 2012, my mom gave birth to my sister, Amani Qairina Adzni. She started walking at ten months old and learned the alphabet at about a year and a half. My sister can scream louder than she cries and sometimes gets chocolate in her hair. The first thing she does in the morning is sing. She loves princesses. Especially Cinderella. Now she is two and a half. She will turn three in two months. My sister is a crazy woman and I love her.

The Loud Library and The Louder Airport
Qistina Adzni, Age 8
Angell Elementary
There once was a library next to an airport. A loud library. There was lots of shhhhs and zooms. Everyday, everyone who came to the library was annoyed of the loud sounds.
One day, an inspector came and said, “I will shut down your library if you don’t keep your library quiet!”
“Shhhhh!” Everybody yelled back. Suddenly, a VRROOOM and a WHOOOSH went by. Then the inspector stomped away stomp! stomp! stomp!
The next day, the inspector came again. This time, when he came, everybody was quiet. So quiet, no one made a peep. You couldn’t even hear anyone’s footsteps. The inspector thought they were so quiet, he left and didn’t close down the library.
After he left, they had a big celebration! KAAABOOM! They had fireworks. Then they never made a peep in the library again.

Once There Was A Cat
Qistina Adzni, 8
Angell Elementary
Once there was a cat
who had 1,000 hats
and her name was Pat.
She lived in a skyscraper
that had 79 floors.
In her room,
she had a big broom.
She loves to sweep
wheat in her room.
She lost 100 fundred hats
but she didn’t like those hats
anyway.
She loves to eat geese feet
and she drinks cheese juice.
She has a friend named Bob
and he likes to eat lobster.
Pat the Cat drove a
star car.
She had a cuddly snake
that loved to bake.
She had a T.V.
that lit up with LED lights.
Her bed was wet
because she had a chemistry set.
Her set was broken
because a toad took it.
The toad took the set to the road.
Pat loves reading books
that have Captain Hook.
One day Bob married Pat
and there were lots of cats.
They had lots of fat kitty cats.
Then, they lived happily ever after.

Butterbraputercheeantraffeman
Qistina Adzni, 8
Angell Elementary
Once there was a piñata that came alive. It had wings like a butterfly and the body of a zebra. It also was as smart as a computer, as fast as a cheetah, had legs as small as ants, a neck as long as a giraffe’s, and the head of a human. It was black, pink, green, and brown, had glasses, and had long hair. The creature was called a butterbraputercheeantraffeman.
It was a secret pet of a kid named Blafarood. On Blafarood’s 9th birthday, he told the butterbraputercheeantraffeman he had to turn back to a piñata so his parents didn’t have to buy a new one. But, instead of turning back in a piñata, he turned into a robot statue.
A curator once found the robot statue and put it in a museum. The robot statue turned alive again one night and snuck out of the museum and turned back into a piñata just in time for Blafarood’s party.

The Mystery of the King’s Stolen Gold
Qistina Adzni, 8
Angell Elementary
Once upon a time the king realized that he was missing gold. Then, the king saw gold around the castle. He went to check on the Gold Room, and he found out that the gold around the castle was the missing gold! When he left the room, he left the door open accidentally.
The next morning, he noticed that the door was open! He thought that someone opened the door to steal the gold! That afternoon, he saw his best servant, Bob, put something yellow in his pocket. He thought that Bob stole his gold! The king thought, “Why would my favorite servant steal the gold?”
The next afternoon, the king saw the lock on the Gold Room was broken! The plan was that, at night, he would go to Bob’s house and search for the gold. That night, the king’s plan had worked! Bob had stolen the gold. The king decided to punish Bob by firing him.
The king got his gold back and he was happy. Then, a week after the punishment, Bob apologized to the king and he felt happier. But, Bob was the happiest when he was re-hired!
