Mine and Your Friendship

Mine and your friendship
is on the whole Earth and even
the moon, like when I’m in
a spacesuit I feel protected,
good and happy. When I’m
around you I feel I can
be honest. Being around you
is like being at a concert
with you, but instead of
music blasting out of the speakers, it’s our friendship.

Icicles Filled the Long Window

icicles dropped in the warm cocoa melting into my heart
filled my cup of cocoa to the top like my heart it exploded
the cocoa splashed one single drop and it carved a heart in my heart
long below me I knew the icicle was filled with warmth that warmed my heart
window closing, me under it, it made a puddle of warmth in my heart-shaped cup

with the

barbaric splashing and icicles falling a window was around my heart

glass in the window is gone and it’s in my heart

The Snowball Fight

The white glowing snow hit my elbow
Boom!
It tasted like peppermint snow
When I made another snowball it looked white and sparkly
It looked so white and sparkly,
It was as white as a snow leopard and as sparkly as a diamond
