Chapter 1—Poison
One creeeepy Halloween, a fisherman was boating down the Huron River at Gallup Park. Suddenly, the water was turning green. The fisherman turned his head. He scratched his head. What is this? he thought.
Chapter 2—What is This?
This was crazy. The fish were no longer jumping. They sunk. They were dead. How can green water kill fish? he thought.
Chapter 3—Time for Thrill
A tentacle was coming three inches over the water. The water was low. Definitely short arms. Ooh, the fisherman thought. This is it.
Chapter 4—Information
It floated above water. Malicious red eyes. Dirty. Mud all over it. Noisy chirping sound. The biggest crab. The king crab.
Chapter 5—Heartbeat
Tree frogs were hiding in their tree. “Aaaah,” the fisherman screamed in terror. The phenomenon was dunking below the water and came up.
Chapter 6—Safety
The fisherman was rowing for his life. The phenomenon jumped up. The phenomenon hit the concrete. The blood was a yucky, dirty brown and black ooze. It came out of its tentacle. It sunk.
Chapter 7—Thank Goodness
This was a yucky and horrible experience for the fisherman. He ran to the coffee shop. The owner said, “Do you need any help?” The fisherman panted. “Get rid of this creature,” he said. “Okay,” said the owner. “Just pour this oil into the river.”
Chapter 8—Home Finally
The fisherman did as he was told. Lightning struck. He ran to his car. He went down Huron Parkway. Home. Great. Yay. He ran inside. He ate dinner and got into bed. And that’s all.
