The Mystery of the Sick Farmer

There once was a pig, but not just an ordinary pig: he was a detective. Here, let’s start at the beginning.

So, there once was a farm. The farm had lots of animals, but only one pig! So, one day at the farm, the owner didn’t come out to feed the animals because he was sick! But, how did he get sick? So, the detective snuck out of his pen and started on his case.

He started looking. He started at the farmer’s house. He went inside and he was so amazed: muddy footprints! (And, they looked like deer prints, fox, and dog!) But, he also saw some liquid and mud leading out the window.

He followed them, then the footprints led him to a fox’s cave! He went in and got the fox! And said: “Go, you!” But the fox was uninterested and the pig went back to his pen and no one ever knew about it. The farmer and the pig lived happily ever after.
